How to make them:
Smoothies are a practical and delicious way to conjure up an extra portion of fruit and greens in your everyday life. You can have a smoothie for breakfast or as a tasty snack between meals. Basically, the more fruit you add, the more sugar you will have in your mix later on. So be careful!
The order in which you put the ingredients in your blender plays an important role. To make a perfect smoothie, you should first put some liquid and the hard ingredients that take longer to blend, such as ice cubes, frozen banana slices, nut kernels, stone fruit, ginger or similar, into the blender. Your SOOPERFOOD-mixes. The remaining ingredients such as herbs, berries and leafy vegetables are then added to the blender. Here are the individual steps for you:
The preparation
1. first add a cup of water, fresh juice, oat milk, almond milk or coconut water to your blender.
2. add 3-4 portions of your favorite Sooperfood blends. You'll soon find out what works best for you.
3. fruit (e.g. apples, bananas, berries, mango, kiwi, melon), vegetables (e.g. celery, kale, rocket, spinach) and extras (e.g. nut butter, spices, ginger). Blend the hard ingredients first.
4. at the very end, you can add ingredients to your smoothie that do not necessarily need to be blended, such as psyllium husks and bran. Simply stir these ingredients into your smoothie with a spoon.
