PACKAGING, TRANSPORTING
& RECYCLE
We strive to operate as sustainably as possible. This naturally also applies to our packaging. Here you can find out what we use to make our various packaging, as well as our brochures, promotional materials, and shipping boxes, and how you can recycle them.

CANS
Our products are predominantly packaged in membrane cans. These are cans made from recycled cardboard combined with other materials. Membrane cans provide optimal protection for our sensitive powder products and, thanks to their light weight and 100% recyclability, have a good ecological footprint.
These cans have proven to be the best type of packaging for our products. They are very leak-proof and offer the best protection against moisture, which can prevent clumping of the products, as well as against the loss of flavor and natural aromas.
Your can has an Au membrane and a plastic lid and base. If you don't want to refill the can, we ask that you separate these parts from the can when recycling.
The cans also feature a printed label so you know which product you're holding. A digital printing process is used here. This process is inherently more sustainable than conventional printing. It reduces waste, eliminates the need for printing plates and cylinders, shortens the physical distance between production and customers, and reduces emissions.

BROCHURES
For almost all of our advertising materials, displays, and brochures, or for office paper needs, we use suitable recycled paper, the paper fibers of which are 100 percent obtained from waste paper.
Like the labels on our packaging, our brochures are printed using digital printing. This process is inherently more sustainable than traditional printing. It reduces waste, eliminates the need for printing plates and cylinders, shortens the physical distance between production and customers, and reduces emissions. Paper is a valuable resource, and we therefore ask you to dispose of it separately.

SHIPPING BOXES
For our shipping boxes, the cardboard packaging for our "starter set," and the shredded paper used to fill the shipping boxes, we use paper, solid cardboard, or corrugated cardboard, depending on the product. At least 80% of the fibers used in these packaging materials come from recycled paper. Once you have completely emptied our boxes, you can dispose of them with your usual waste paper.
By the way: The CO2 emissions generated when shipping your Sooperfood package are offset by our logistics partners.
